The true 'Cabin on the Lake' experience, with infinite options for families and groups of all sizes. The property has its own dock on Spoon Lake, with gently sloping access for swimming, sunbathing, canoeing, or kayaking (our lake is motorless to protect the loons, making it quiet and safe.) There is easy access to incredible mountain biking and hiking just steps from the front door. Glacier National Park, West Glacier town, and access to the North Fork of the Flathead River are within about 10 minutes. World class skiing and the resort town of Whitefish is only 20 minutes away. Either rent the main 4 bedroom, 2 bath cabin on its own, or bring more people and add anything from one to four extra 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cabins on the same property. The guest cabins are never rented to a separate party from the main house, so your privacy is assured. The main cabin has an inviting Great Room for gathering, with a gas stove, two large couches, and plenty of seating and tables, as well as a TV for movies. We have a large video and DVD library with plenty of kids shows, too. This room also has a very long wooden dining table with long benches to accommodate up to 16 people comfortably for meals and games after supper. The Great Room also opens to a large wraparound covered deck with plenty of seating available to watch the loons on the lake. Each of the additional cabins sleeps two people and comes with two twin beds that can be converted to king size. Each cabin has its own 3/4 bathroom with shower. Two of the cabins also have microwaves and small fridges. In each cabin, you can look out at the peaceful lake when you wake up each morning. Going to the sun Road was open, and we loved it! We were above to hike Avalanche Lake, visit Lake McDonald and stop at many of the spectacular falls and vistas along the way. We hiked on snow packed ground in our shorts and T shirts at Logan’s Pass. There were people sledding, skiing and building snowmen. Some who were in flip flops or sandals were regretting it, though. The weather has been beautiful (75-85 degrees) and no rain. We are headed to the East side today to stay at a KOA cabin. We hope to visit Two Medicine, Many Glacier, and St. Mary’s. Thank you again! Welcome to Ten Mile Post, located on the North Fork Road -- this modern cabin in the woods offers all the comforts of the home, like cell & WiFi service, along with a quiet place to unwind. Off the beaten path, this cabin sits perched on a hillside among diverse native trees, surrounded by Huckleberry bushes, Bear Grass, and other wild flowers. The back porch cantilevers out over the hillside showcasing views of the Apgar mountains in Glacier National Park which makes for an amazing place to watch the sun rise or set. Ten Mile Post is the perfect home base for families who want to come together and enjoy the natural beauty of NW Montana in a private setting. Located just 10 miles north of Columbia Falls and 10 miles from West Glacier, this cabin boasts a fully stocked kitchen and living area that connects with a large exterior deck (containing a gas grill) making it easy to relax outside. The indoor - outdoor bar is my favorite part of this cabin as it makes for the best place to enjoy food and beverages with friends and loved ones. This cabin sleeps 6-8 comfortably. Downstairs, on the ground level, you will find 2 twin bunks just off the living area and a queen sized pull-out couch. There is a full bathroom with a tiled shower as well as a washer and dryer. On the 2nd floor, there are 2 twin bunks in the open loft entertainment area and then the master bedroom has one queen sized bed. Also located on the 2nd floor is a giant lounge net that provides a fun and comfortable place for kids of all ages to unwind after a day of adventuring. There is a second full bathroom with tiled shower on the 2nd floor as well. This cabin has numerous books and games on hand along with Netflix and a few DVD's & VHS movies. We try to make things as homey as possible. We are located exactly one mile from Glacier Rim river access on the North Fork of the Flathead River and encourage swimming in the refreshing water, even if it is a bit brisk! Two bedroom, 2 bathroom house on five acres tucked away at the end of the road. A very quiet and peaceful location and only 15 minutes from Glacier National Park. The house is two stories with the living portion being on the second floor. The house features a full kitchen including dish washer and an outdoor grill on a spacious deck with views of the Park. Also included is washer and dryer. Other amenities include an outdoor play yard for kids and fire pit. There is unlimited Wi-Fi, however there is not a television. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two twin beds. The living room has a futon which could also sleep two.

About 45 minutes to Big Mountain ski resort where there is snow skiing in winter and hiking in the summer. The views up Big mountain are amazing. About 45 minutes to Lakeside featuring Flathead Lake and swimming access to the lake. Charter a fishing boat and fish for the day on Flathead lake, the largest natural lake west of the Mississippi. About 15 minutes to Hungry Horse Dam where there is boating, fishing, and swimming. About 30 minutes to historic downtown Kalispell. About 30 minutes to Big Fork where there is shopping, food and breweries on the Flathead lake. This is just the beginning. A bear proof trash can is provided but remember to be 'Bear Aware'. The Great Room has a 42 inch hdtv with smart dvd player. The home includes wifi. The Master Bedroom has a 32 inch tv/dvd. Basic satellite channels and Netflix are included to make your stay that much more comfortable. There is a queen sleeper sofa and a twin sleeper in the Great Room, both with memory foam toppers. The fire ring area with plenty of adirondack seating is a great bonfire, star gazing and marshmallow outing. The back deck has a five piece dinette and a Weber gas grill for entertaining. September and October are excellent times to visit Glacier Park The home is a newly-constructed (2011) Appalachian-style log-sided home of 2000 square feet, 29X40 with two covered 8 foot deep front and rear porches and a 3/4 loft. It is located on a one (1) acre parcel facing the North Fork of the Flathead River, a National Wild and Scenic River corridor and looks across the river into Glacier National Park. It is truly a unique getaway for those seeking solitude, privacy and the convenient access to nearby wilderness and national park recreational opportunities. Our cabin comfortably accommodates four (4) people maximum. No additional non-contracted guests are permitted. We are 15 minutes from West Glacier, 10 minutes from Columbia Falls, 20 minutes from Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Ski Area and 30 minutes from Kalispell and Glacier Park International Airport. This beautiful and unique home will be a close home base for your visit to Montana. Minutes from the entrance of Glacier Park, this hideaway is ideal for your larger groups. Fully equipped kitchen, large back yard area, decks will leave you relaxed. TV will provide you with entertainment for down times since internet speeds are not too speedy. This entire home is solar powered giving you the modern Montana experience. The home was recently set up for Airbnb, so you will be the first guests this year. Log look lodge inside a frame home, this open and airy concept living space is high on the square footage. The home is powered by large solar panels. There is not a view, but a beautiful setting! This home has two bathrooms. However, one is upstairs has a curtain instead of a door. The tub is set out in the open, much like a honeymoon suite, but may be lacking in privacy for those that seek it. The main floor bathroom has a separate toilet/shower from the double sink vanity which also houses the washer and dryer. The home is set in a private location without neighbors. The bedrooms do not have doors, but are large, open rooms, one in the daylight basement (with door on the entrance going down to the basement), and one in the large open loft area where there are two beds. There is a large closet upstairs for changing. Be sure to close the garage door, and keep all garbage inside the cans in the garage to avoid attracting wildlife. The deck door needs to be pulled tightly to close. Please check out the photos well before booking. The home is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. This entire home is powered by solar panels and battery back up which will not show on the surface. For this reason, we ask that you not run the jacuzzi with any other appliances or water running elsewhere. It uses a lot of power and will cause the system to not be able to keep up. If you have the washer, the dryer, the shower, the bathtub and oven going, something similar will happen. Feel free to use everything, with these guidelines. The internet works here, but is very limited. We will charge for extra Wi-Fi usage. Please only use for checking email. Do not sync to upload photos. Internet is very slow as well, and should not be counted on to work well due to the remote locale. At the moment, the washer is a bit noisy, and you will want the door to remain closed. There are gas heaters on each level, which can offer a chance to take off the chill. However, I would recommend forgoing that in the summer. Open the windows at night and close them to keep it nice and comfortable temp during the day. If you run a heater in the morning when you are cold, you will be too hot in the day in the summer. There is no air conditioning, but fans, but no need for it in this area, if you do this.

This three bedroom home has a breathtaking view of Glacier National Park on ten forested acres. The north fork of the Flathead river is one mile from the house for fishing and rafting access. It is fifteen minutes to the West Glacier National Park entrance.

The 1000 square foot, wood sided, red roofed, two story chalet with white painted balconies is a dream come true. Located at the edge of the woods, the quiet here is soothing and tranquil. Two cozy upstairs bedrooms, one with two twin beds, and the other with one queen bed, have down comforters. Each room is in European cottage decor and has its own private balcony with views of the mountains and woods and a place to sit and relax. A full bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms. The downstairs has a full kitchen, dining room, living room with full sofa bed couch, reading chairs and a gas fireplace, a bathroom, entry room, and front porch. The living room opens out onto a large balcony deck with deck chairs and barbecue grill. The deck overlooks the meadow below and the mountains above.

The 1200 foot Alpine Cottage can accommodate up to six persons and is reminiscent of a Swedish country house. The living room/dining room has a vaulted ceiling and skylights, and nearly floor to ceiling windows reveal a majestic view of a mountain meadow surrounded by forest and mountain peaks in the distance. The pine walls surrounding the living room and dining room are hand painted with mountains, flowers, and birds, making it look like an artist's cottage. Two couches (one a sofa bed) and an overstuffed chair in the living room make a cozy place to relax and visit. An arched doorway leads to a fully equipped kitchen with an arched window between the kitchen and dining room. French doors from the dining room open out to a large deck with grill and deck chairs, the perfect place to relax and take in the stunning view of mountains and wildlife. Up the stairs from the living room, the cozy pine walled loft bedroom has twin beds, skylights, a sitting area, and a balcony window that opens out to the living room below with a view to the meadow and mountains. The master bedroom includes a queen bed hung about with romantic white linen curtains and a small chandelier over the bed. A glass door leads into a private bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub. The hallway from the master bedroom leads to a second full bathroom, complete with stackable washer/dryer.

Just minutes away from rafting, zip-lining and a quick drive to Whitefish. Our home has everything you need. It is very clean with a fully stocked kitchen, cozy beds, a Smart TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and a wood pellet burning stove. It can easily accommodate a solo, couple or full-family experience. Our home is an A-frame style home with a large loft upstairs with one queen bed and a futon bed if needed. It also has an office area with Wi-Fi hook-up. The downstairs is a complete open concept home with a large galley style kitchen that is fully stocked with every appliance you would need. The dining room and large living room are also open to the kitchen. The living room has a cozy wood pellet burning stove, a smart TV with Netflix and plenty of room to socialize. The second bedroom is downstairs with a queen bed. The bathroom and laundry room are also downstairs. For our summer travelers we have a great porch setup with nice fire pit to enjoy. For our Fall travelers we will have a pick your own Pumpkin Patch. Four our winter travelers there is a cozy pellet stove with easy to use instructions you ban park your family in front of and play some games. We sit on a little more than one acre back in the beautiful woods of Montana. There is a large fire pit and lots of room to roam and enjoy nature. We do live close to the Burlington Northern Railway, which is the Amtrak line as well. Our home is very well insulated and the noise is not too noticeable from inside. We have provided noise machines and ear plugs in each bedroom just in case you are a sensitive sleeper. When you are outside though, it can be quite loud when the trains pass by. Our house is located in a very small town called Coram, MT which is just minutes from Glacier National Park. Our town has two restaurants, the Glacier Grill which has incredible pizza, and the Trapline which has great breakfast and burgers. Right down the road to the north is West Glacier, MT which is a great small town with lots of shops and restaurants too. It is the GNP entrance point. The other direction about a 5 minute drive to the south, is Hungry Horse, MT which has a small grocery store, shopping, restaurants and the famous Huckleberry Patch where you must have a piece of their huckleberry pie. There are so many wonderful things to do that are just minutes from our home.
